i didn't go to work. In fact it was the last 2 days of baito. I went for a snowboarding trip with my friends. Ben's friends came here on tuesday for snowboarding. And among them is one of my friend from my batch, Maddo from Fukui. Aki, Benjo, Tulang, Zam, Anan, Kemut, Halim and another 3 of kak aya's friends were here in nagano. A lot happened yesterday...and I mean A LOT. Plus an experience that I will last in my memory for a long time...
14 of us in 4 cars including mine. It's was snowing from the morning, and we knew that it would be a fine day for snowboarding. We planned to start off in the morning, but since one of the cars have problems with the tires, we decided to put on the plastic chain on them. It took us some time to attach it to the CRV front tires. Kekkyoku, we start off our trip at 12pm. Took the highway to Myoko Kougen. Reached there at 2pm. After much waiting, we finally start boarding at 3pm. We bought the whole day ticket and got a free night ticket and also 60% discount. The track was 1.7km long. Saikoouu!! It was my first night boarding experience. I tried to do the S thing. I managed to learn to do the Z in my last boarding trip..and wanted to try something new this time. Thanx to Maddo, I finally got to do the S..Eventhough it is not perfect..but at least I finally understand the basic. Gonna practice it the next time I go boarding in january.
Then come the unforgetable part. Just before the closing time of the night boarding at 9pm, there was a huge snow storm. The wind was so strong..it was kinda scary. Our cars was covered with snow in a short period of time. Then we decided to go home before the storm gets even worst. We struggled to attach another chain to the integra driven by kemut. Since his car is not on Studless tires. Mine and Benjo's car is using studless and the CRV used the chain. The snow was so heavy and we drove carefully and the speedometer goes no more than 20km/H!!! We took the highway home. Even the highway was covered by thick snow. During my ride home, I lead the others. My car slipped and almost did a 180 spin. It happened when 4 big trucks suddenly came past me and their huge tires threw a bunch of snow to my car and it spinned. Thank god Benjo was behind me and he covered the side of the road so I can reverse my car back to normal position. I was scary but Alhamdulillah, when the car spinned I manage to calm down and just let it go. Coz if I panic, I might hit the side of the road. I controlled the stearing wheel so the car won't spin more. And it stopped before it hit the left side of the road. And I'm really thankfull to Benjo coz he and his co-drivers was alert and helped me that time. 300m from the spot I spinned, was the exit to Nagano city and Alhamdullah, we all reached home safely and had supper at Gusto and we talked about everything we did today.
It was the fun, and I want to go boarding again!!
